A project accounting and contract management software.
WrkPlan (formerly ERPGOV Cloud) is a modern cloud-based ERP software optimized for Government contracting and other project-based businesses. It is a DCAA-compliant accounting and contract management system that generates government invoices in T&M, cost plus, and fixed price formats, tracks funding, indirect rates and can even generate the Incurred Cost Submission schedules.
WrkPlan is used by small to mid-sized Federal Government contractors, project-based service businesses.
Very impressed with controls and over-all function of software providing real-time reporting, accessibility, and accountability. Great resource that captures and provides reliable costing allocations to end product.
WrkPlan is much more user-friendly than similar products available and yet provides the controls necessary for audits and reliability.
Since payroll is not integrated, I would like to see the ability to enter lump sum timecard documents so that payroll reports ran in WrkPlan reconcile to third-party payroll reports (WrkPlan payroll reports don’t allow for bonuses, commissions, etc. - so, “Payroll” reports don’t really reflect “Payroll”)
Much easier setup than competing products, very user-friendly and easy to navigate with time-saving automation and useful reports
The interface is very modern and responsive. Cloud based accounting software so I can access it from my client’s location or when I am travelling.
It has a steep learning curve if you are not an accountant or have not used Deltek.
The menus and interface are modern and well organized. Easy to correct mistakes.
The date control is terrible. When you click in a date field it has a date mask but the cursor doesn’t always go to the start of the field. You can’t use the delete key for corrections. The drop down calendar requires you to scroll through months, so if you want to run a report for last fiscal year you have to manually type in the date or scroll.
The user manual is poorly written and is not detailed enough to use the software without going through user training.
