PMC is a computerized maintenance management system designed to increase productivity, reduce downtime, and extend equipment life. PMC provides many benefits in the following areas:
Additionally, the Work Requester Email/Pager module and the Barcode module are available for further versatility. The Work Requester Email/Pager module allows non PMC users to submit maintenance requests from any location. The Barcode module is a software package that allows you to easily print and apply barcodes to reports, work orders, purchase orders and labels. Hence, allowing for instantaneous data entry since the user only has to scan the barcode to enter data.
PMC’s Inventory module is designed to give you the control to run your stockroom at peak efficiency. Consisting of the Part table and the Inventory MenuPal, PMC can provide you with complete visibility. The MenuPal allows you to easily create and view inventory adjustments. Furthermore you can search for specific part inventory quantities within multiple companies; and you can easily transfer parts as needed. Searching can be done on the following criteria: ID, description, manufacturer, vendor or quantity on hand. As stated before all adjustments made to inventory are recorded and available for review. This is incredibly useful in both auditing and managerial control.
To maximize your control over your inventory PMC has developed a purchasing system that can automatically generate purchase orders as needed. If you need parts quickly and cannot wait for an automated PO to be generated, PMC prompts for necessary information needed to request parts. With the purchasing order module, PMC’s inter-connectivity allows you to create a PO, check the availability of necessary inventory, view any work orders using a particular part, and compare prices between vendors.
PMC’s powerful report writer contains over 200 pre-defined reports and graphs. Reports can also be defined by you; you simply need to select the specific information you want represented and PMC will do the rest. Saved reports are accessible by name, number or keyword. Graphs can be edited using the graphing tool; enabling you to change the physical display of the graph, the graph type, and individual components within a graph. PMC from start to finish is your complete CMMS system.
PMC’s Scheduling module gives you a variety of ways to create and edit work orders. Work orders can be manually or automatically scheduled. Automatically scheduled work orders are created based on: time (days or hours), cycle counters or meter readings, the last time a procedure or schedule was completed; or any combination of the preceding. Master work orders can be scheduled by combining work orders due on the same date, or with similar asset classes. Calendar lock-outs allow you to specify days of the year, on which your operations are suspended (e.g. holidays). Finally the asset count/meter gives you the ability to easily enter asset readings so work orders can be generated on time.
PMC’s Work Orders Module allows you to generate, manage, and report your work orders. Combination of multiple work orders can be easily done by creating a master work order. Additionally, the Work Orders module includes the Work Order Glance feature; that allows you to easily manage your work orders. This feature displays work orders in a calendar format allowing you to easily view conflicts and edit the work order to avoid them. You can also assign labor hours to work orders, allowing for faster processing and closing. Generation of work orders is done in three ways:
