Thanks to Openbravo, we were able to lighten our infrastructure in stores by eliminating the need for servers on site. We are now able to roll out changes in a way that saves much time and cost.

In just one year, we multiplied our sales by 2.5x. This was how my company began.

My project became a company and grew significantly.

We analyzed some other options and chose Openbravo because it was an open solution and adaptable to any size company. We use Openbravo as our brain. On one hand, we have a back office for the analysis of metrics. On the other hand, we have POS used in out stores. We also integrated with Magento for ecommerce and are able to integrate with Amazon. Openbravo helps us stay integrated with all these channels.

Before we were just retailers but now we’re active in distribution. We needed a powerful tool to manage all the information.

I’d recommend Openbravo to any business in retail operations, anywhere in the supply chain.

We needed a partner who would help us manage information with much more agility. We work with over 40,000 products and multiple warehouses. All of that requires a different kind of management and vision.

We thought Openbravo would be the ideal partner to make that leap.

The three characteristics of Openbravo’s software that we liked is the web environment to sell from the mobile phone or tablet in real-time, the open source software that enables us to develop our own tools to the industry, and a tool that allows us to grow whether we have 20 stores of 50,000.

The closing cash feature in the POS looks like it’s missing functionality. In videos I’ve watched, the user just entered a total for the cash, most systems let people count each currency denomination (e.g. $1.00, $5.00, $0.25, etc). Does OpenBravo POS have that functionality or only end of day total cash?
