Aptean Process Manufacturing ERP ProcessPro Edition

ProcessPro is a robust ERP, with alot of great features, but it is not built to support the cannabis industry right out of the box. We have had to create a great deal of work arounds to make the software work for us. I am constantly having to correct my margins and add overhead because it does not accuratley track the grow through the various processes. It also is limited in what can be tracked across the cultivation and at what stages. For the attached price tag, we would expect a more automated workflow.

The inventory lot tracking ability really suits the needs of my company.

Process Pro has helped NutraKey Health to up our game, especially in our Warehouse using the ERM system and scanning. We implemented Process Pro in 4th Quarter of last year and already seeing improvements in tracking, and trending over our old system.

I am the purchasing agent within the company. I rely heavily on using the software for maintaining the inventory on hand and how much I will need to order for the next few days as well as the future. Entering Purchase orders and receiving the orders is a neat, organized way of keeping track of inventory especially for SQF audits

Support is weak. Answers to problems/issues are often figured out by our own staff.

Process Pro is a fully integrated system with a lot of potential if set up correctly and used properly in a manufacturing environment. That being said there is a lot of room for user error and incorrect training can lead to many problems in all aspects of the business.

As production manager, i am able to track in detail every lot produced of our materials. This includes cost, inventory use, variance and so on. A great tool to judge and see how you are doing…The forecasting tool is also a big help to show the production plant what is needed by when.

Works well for process manufacturing.

Would like to see a more upgraded platform.

ProcessPro is a fully intergraded ERP system that we are currently using for chemical manufacturing. It allows us to track the critical components of our business through the system & back where we need to.

The applications all have similar menus, makes it easy to navigate ar,ap,gl etc.

Process Pro is a difficult system to work with. There aren’t easy ways to gather information from different modules. I have heard a lot of complaints around my company about the software not being very user friendly.

We are extremely pleased with the implementation process and our actual go-live was exciting and seamless, with immediate benefits from all the pieces of our new investment. Warehouse Management System (WMS) has allowed us to gain visibility across our three locations and we have been able to bring our processes back into one integrated system without high modification costs.

Before we implemented Advanced Analytics we had in place, honestly, a human being that printed reports for people. They would manually pull data and put reports together for people. It was very laborious and time consuming. People waited in line for their data. What we were hoping to accomplish by replacing our ERP system and then implementing a BI tool was to make our users self-sufficient, and we got everything we had hoped for with ProcessPro and Advanced Analytics. People are getting their own data. Their getting it now, the pieces of information that they need, take them five minutes and they move on with their day. Rather than contacting the data department and asking for information.

It was extremely important for us to find a company we would not only purchase software from, but also form a positive ongoing working relationship. We like that ProcessPro Software provides us with a two-party relationship from development to implementation and training to ongoing service and maintenance. In addition to this, we are pleased with ProcessPro Software’s customer centric approach to updates and modifications.

The one area we see the most increase in efficiency would be in our inventory control. As an example, our month end physical inventory counts where we go through and count all the inventory we have at all of our locations, in the past was a 3-4 day processes where we would start the last day of the month and it would take us 2-3 days to input all that inventory and then reconcile it back to look for any mistakes. Now we’re able to do that entire process in a matter of hours. So something that took us four days can take us 3-4 hours at this point and we have increased accuracy as well.

ProcessPro has had great impact on our company. As a matter of fact, I consider it one of my decisions in my career. We launched with 5 user licenses, we had a 30,000 square foot facility and one building. Today, we have over 100 users, 50 regular licenses, 50 AWS license, and our company has increased in over 600% in terms of revenue. We went from that 30,000 square foot building to today we are over 265,000 square feet in 8 buildings. Six of those buildings we connect wirelessly, all of those are using the software package from ProcessPro. We had tremendous amount of growth and productivity improvements - without having to add a lot of bodies. We use the technology and the efficiencies that ProcessPro gave us to continue to grow that company in the most effective manner.

This is a full ERP system, however, it is on a VERY old platform and the user interface is poor. Although we were told it would be upgraded, instead the company was purchased by another software supplier. As a system, it is adequate. Transactions work, but are very difficult to correct. MRP is no per APICS. No action messages, etc.
