tracks our drivers, with its cool reports and data, we can make some pretty smart business moves

Pros

Just wanted to give a shout out to IndicaOnline. We have been using them for over 5 years and it's been great. From driver tracking to route optimization for our delivery service to our 3 storefront locations. They are always on getting back to us pronto with any questions we've had.

We used IndicaOnline for over 7 years and loved it

July 17th, 2023 • Role: End User

It tracks inventory, drivers and reports transactions to the state. It helps us make business decisions by providing reports and analytics.

Pros

We used IndicaOnline for over 7 years and loved it. We expanded from a small delivery service to managing over 500 drivers, 150 vehicles and 2 storefront locations. Indicaonline handles all out needs. We love their driver tracking and route optimization. Also their ecommerce is fully integrated with our site and our customers love it. Their support is also always on point. We never had to wait on hold and all questions were answered momentarily.

Cons

Can't think of anything that is too major to mention.

Inventory amounts change overnight

February 8th, 2021 • Roles: Purchaser & End User

Overall, it does what it supposed to, I guess. It will do some things great (back end inventory adjustments, customer messaging). It does a handful of things in a mediocre fashion (POS checkout, barcode scanning is a %30 success on any given day, even RFID inventory scans can be great when they work). It has a TON of other issues: Inventory amounts change overnight. Lately it’s been doubling (Yes, DOUBLING!) expected inventory values, making end of day inventory rectify a #$%&ing nightmare. Are employees or patients experiencing sticky fingers syndrome? According to the POS, yes, that’s exactly what things look like!! Even with zero manual inventory adjustments, though, the inventory balance will be spot on the next day.

Pros

It's fairly intuitive and easy to train new folks on

Cons

Incomplete features. Example: An RFID tracking system that only works from a tablet (sometimes) and only works from the back end (sometimes). Labeling options, warnings messages on labels took weeks into months to get resolved. The RFID scn works (kind of) well. If it doesn't pick up a tag, a manual count ensures there is no product loss. However, there is no way to account for a manual count in the Audit. The audit only allows you to adjust expected inventory numbers. If I have 10 of "X", and only 8 scan with the RFID, the system flags a discrepancy of 2. I'm actually physically COUNTING 10, but in order to complete the audit, I have to "adjust" the 10 expected down to 8....even though in reality I have 10. It's a PITA. And of course, there is no recourse for proof of this audit. No reports to run. No paper product to print out...just trust the system.

there are a lot of holes in the system

May 1st, 2020 • Roles: Purchaser & End User

It gets the basics done but like another user said, there are a lot of holes in the system. It should be fine for single store operators who can understand the pitfalls and use work arounds, but I would not recommend this solution for any MSOs

Pros

I like the UI more than any other system. Customizable colours and a fairly easy to learn system. Setup for delivery and pickup which is great

Cons

There is a bug where budtenders can manually bypass the 'walk-in checkout' feature, which means budtenders can check people out who don't have a patient profile... Permissions (similar to the bug above) are not the best. You can't setup a system where the manager/staff member who receives an inventory order can receive/input the order without knowing/inputting the cost of the product... So you either need a separate reporting system or these staff will know the cost of the product. Apple TV and $100 / month for casting to a digital menu is a silly hardware limitation and way too high a price. Limits on Staff and numbers of registers are very low. Mandatory patient inputs for a lot of fields that you simply can't turn off...

POS has simplified the delivery process and operations

January 9th, 2020 • Roles: Purchaser & End User

POS has simplified the delivery process and operations. The sales processing has become easier with a bar code scanner. There are much more functionalities available in the software that makes the operation easy.

Pros

Easy to operate and works efficiently.

Cons

Nothing like that, everything is OK

They have best delivery pos in the industry

August 19th, 2019 • Roles: Purchaser & End User

They have best delivery pos in the industry. We operate multiple delivery locations and are able to track each drivers location and inventory. Also we connected our online store which brought more sales and unloaded our dispatchers.

Pros

Are a able to see our drivers location in real time. They have start order assignment which is similar to on fleet. Their system accounts for traffic and organize orders in the way that we can deliver the most orders in the shortest period of time.

Cons

I wish we can use their POS on Android tablets.

They have offline mode

August 15th, 2019 • Roles: Purchaser & End User

They have much more needed functionality than other POS systems that we’ve used. Also their support is much better than Biotrack. You can always call them and get an answer to the question. The hardware is nice. No need for cables or network or other things that make showroom less pretty.

Pros

They have offline mode. Once, our internet went down, and we were still able to process all our sales like nothing happened.

Cons

No complains so far.

Cannabis retail POS with terrible tech support

July 27th, 2019 • Roles: Purchaser & End User

Cannabis retail POS with terrible tech support and a host of features that dont work and will not be fixed

Cons

Stay Away!! They will display features during demo that don't actually work. There tech support team will answer the phone but cant offer any help. Even if you create a ticket so they can take a few days to work on it they do not ever fix it or call back. They are so understaffed that they can not maintain their integration with woocomerce and dropped all support Features that don't work: - Customer SMS inside the POS - Smart Assignment - You are not able to have your own website and they force you to use potify which has no SEO and also lists your competitors.

Processing sales has been simplified with a built-in barcode scanner

May 24th, 2018 • Roles: Purchaser & End User

Processing sales has been simplified with a built-in barcode scanner. It lets us ring in products instantly and add discounts and loyalty points with one click. The POS allows for multiple forms of payment too such as credit cards. It lets us print the necessary receipts.

Our staff was able to learn the software very quickly (within 2 weeks). The demo and training took less than an hour, and they have an available live chat support.

It fits with our aesthetic and is very sleek and modern. I like that the POS is built in to the hardware, so we don’t have to worry about managing that if something goes wrong.
