Intuendi offers several different types of forecasting as well, to best fit each business. The two main options are top-down and bottom-up, yet the exact option depends on what works best for you. From there, users can further customize how data is prioritized in forecasting.

When those situations seem likely to occur, users can allow the Intuendi AI to suggest just how much stock needs to be ordered, when the order needs to be made, and from which supplier to get the fastest results or best prices.

One particularly cool feature offered by Intuendi is the ability to forecast for new products based on data from existing products. Specifically, this is great when launching a new product which doesn’t yet have any sales history. The system can find products which share similar characteristics, such as color or style, and use that information to generate a forecast.
Purchase Order Approvals
Another unique feature of Intuendi’s AI appears when making purchase orders: order management system makes it possible to see a container’s estimated space in real-time.
Automation features make suggested orders based on supplier constraints, like a predetermined minimum order quantity. Requiring approval can prevent overstock situations by allowing users to double-check what is being ordered and in what quantities.
Want to understand why the AI suggested the quantities or dates that it did? There’s a pop-out tile which will show the reasoning. Of course, users can also make their own purchase orders the traditional way as well - though still informed by the data Intuendi has on each product.
What Features Are Missing?
After using Intuendi, a few extra features would have been nice:
- Financial and labor management: Currently Intuendi does not have tools for financial or labor management. However, it can connect with ERP and other solutions, so new purchase orders can be shared and processed. And these features can be added in the future.
- Mobile app: While not necessary to function, Intuendi could benefit from having a mobile app which would allow users to check real-time forecasting updates on-the-go.
