SKU.io
4 Reviews 5/5 ★ ★ ★ ★ ★A multichannel inventory and order management software for eCommerce brands selling on Shopify, Amazon, and B2B wholesale.
Product Overview
SKU.io is a cloud-based inventory and order management software for eCommerce brands that sell through Shopify, marketplaces like Amazon and Walmart, and wholesale. It maintains accurate stock counts across warehouses, 3PLs, and sales channels, with automatic inventory updates, so products can’t be sold twice.
The software goes beyond basic stock tracking with features for order management and routing, purchasing and demand planning, bundles and kitting, and BOM and assembly management. Inventory is valued using FIFO costing, which includes landed costs such as freight and duty, providing brands with accurate profit figures by product, brand, and channel. It also supports lot and serial tracking and a B2B portal for wholesale buyers.
For accounting, SKU.io syncs to QuickBooks Online and Xero rather than replacing them. Teams can automate routine processes with a no-code workflow builder, while an open API and MCP server give developers and AI agents full access to the platform.
Pros
- One stock count across every channel, warehouse, and 3PL
- Detailed Amazon FBA and AWD support, including settlement reconciliation
- Unlimited users, channels, and API access at one flat price
- Month-to-month contracts with no annual commitment
Cons
- No built-in accounting; relies on QuickBooks Online or Xero
- Doesn’t print shipping labels on its own
- Lighter warehouse-floor tools than a dedicated WMS
Target Market
eCommerce brands doing $1M to $50M a year in consumer goods, beauty, apparel, and food and beverage. Distributors and wholesalers that sell across multiple sales channels or warehouses. Not Recommended For
Small single-channel stores where Shopify’s built-in tools are enough or warehouses that need full WMS or accounting functionality.Video Overview
Key Features
Inventory Management
- Multi-location inventory: Track inventory across every warehouse, 3PL, and Amazon FBA location.
- Real-time inventory sync: Updates available stock levels on all sales channels the moment an order or delivery comes in.
- Lot and serial tracking: Record lot and serial numbers when stock is received and follow products through distribution with an audit trail.
Order Management
- Order routing: Route orders to the appropriate warehouse, 3PL, or Amazon Fulfillment location, based on where stock is available.
- Backorder management: Keeps orders for out-of-stock items open and releases them for fulfillment once incoming stock is received.
- B2B wholesale portal: Give wholesale customers their own portal to place orders.
Purchasing and Demand Planning
- Demand forecasting: Calculate what to reorder and when, using each product’s sales velocity and the supplier’s lead time.
- Purchase orders: Create purchase orders using reorder recommendations that can be reviewed, edited, and sent to suppliers.
- Receiving: Receive incoming shipments using standard barcode scanners to add them to inventory.
Product Information Management
- Bundles and kits: Sell grouped products as a single SKU that automatically deducts each component from inventory when the bundle sells.
- Product information management: Keep product details like titles, descriptions, attributes, and supplier lead times in one place and easily publish them to all sales channels.
- Pricing tiers: Products can carry as many price tiers as needed from MAP, MSRP, wholesale, breakeven, and even Black Friday tiers. Additionally, you can track supplier pricing and bulk order tiers.
Multichannel Selling
- Channel integrations: Connects to Shopify, Amazon, Walmart, eBay, TikTok Shop, and other marketplaces, pulling in orders and pushing out inventory updates.
- Multichannel listings: Create and update product listings across connected channels instead of editing each storefront separately.
- Amazon FBA and AWD: Manages inventory sent to Amazon fulfillment centers, builds inbound shipment plans, and reconciles Amazon settlements against SKU.io records.
Inventory Costing and Reporting
- FIFO and landed costing: Values inventory first-in, first-out and adds freight and duty to each unit’s cost, so COGS reflects what a product actually costs to land.
- Order profitability: Calculates profit on every order after product cost, channel fees, and shipping, and alerts you to orders sold at a low margin or a loss.
- Profit reporting: Shows profit and margin by product, brand, and sales channel to help identify which products and channels are worth the investment.
Automation and Developer Access
- No-code workflow builder: Set up rules to automate routine tasks, like routing certain orders or triggering actions when stock drops, without writing code.
- Open API: Makes every function in the app available through a documented REST API and webhooks for custom integrations.
- MCP server: Connect AI agents like Claude Code directly to SKU.io. Can be used to look up data and take actions for you.
Manufacturing (Add-On)
- Bills of materials: Lists the components and quantities needed to build each finished product.
- Assemblies: Builds finished goods from component inventory and updates stock levels for both.
- MRP: Plans the materials needed for upcoming production based on demand and current stock.

SKU.io Review
At first I thought it was just going to be a connector for us, but after using it for the last few months it’s basically a full-service erp. We should start using it that way.

SKU.io Review
Having one inventory that serves all of our sales channels is great, and the API-first approach gives us a lot of flexibility. Fulfillment and shipping work really well too.
Pros
The ability to see that this sales order is covered by this PO and ETAs and things like that is really great.
