I found OpenBOM because I needed a solution to roll up quantities in our complicated multilevel robotic equipment BOMs, something I could not do in Excel. I found OpenBOM’s Flatten feature to be EXACTLY what I was looking for. I wish I would have found it months ago!
OpenBOM has solved many issues. It also catches mistakes. One thing we love is we have a reference catalog that will prompt us of incorrect/duplicate part numbers, and point us to the correct one. It also has caught many revision numbers inconsistency’s.
