Anthology Student is a cloud-based student information system designed specifically for higher education institutions. It seamlessly integrates with other cloud-based software offerings from the same parent company, such as Anthology Blackboard learning management system and Reach CRM.
The primary focus of Anthology Student is to address the unique challenges faced by tertiary schools. It offers solutions for tasks like student recruitment, retention strategies, tuition and financial aid management, graduation rules and processes, maintaining course catalogs, and more. Additionally, the system can identify and communicate with students who may be struggling academically or facing disciplinary issues.

Mount Marty traditionally has not invested heavily in IT infrastructure. So if we were really going to be serious about on-premise [installation and management], we would have to make some serious infrastructure investments. And I think our money is best spent elsewhere. So by going to the cloud, we really are reducing our reliance on internal infrastructure.
One big change [through CampusNexus] was to make us more of a service organization, where we’re proactively going out and helping our [students]. So from an IT standpoint it’s really allowed us to do that and stop focusing on the servers being down, replacing hard drives; and it allows us to focus on the [students].
