Great Data Manager in a safe cloud environment

September 20th, 2021 • Roles: Purchaser & End User

Great Data Manager in a safe cloud environment, with a competitive price and backed by a great support team.

Pros

A great platform that is perfectly integrated with the rest of the company's products. Cleo has Multi-location and multi-device access and the solution itself becomes in charge of all or technical maintenance and updates my automating it.

Cons

The only thing that can be said about Cleo in a negative way is that the price is a bit high for SMEs to use.

The translation rules and the onboarding process can be streamlined

April 28th, 2020 • Roles: Purchaser & End User

We are not using Cleo Integration cloud currently but from what I gather, this looks like a promising tool to keep all our resources in one place.

Pros

We are new to this software but what I particularly like about this software is that the translation rules, the onboarding process can be streamlined. Also not to forget, this will help users be independent while running reports for their analysis.

Cons

Honestly, we are still very new to it so we are in the process of discovering as we delve deeper.

March 31st, 2020 • Roles: Purchaser & End User

Cleo has been a great partner for our business, excellent support and incredible functionality, the team is very engaged and willing to work with us on anything we are trying to accomplish.

Pros

Very capable software, yet simple and reliable. Easy to setup and configure with a little knowledge.

Cons

The ability to retain "Date Created" for files is missing, this required that we move one of our crucial processes away from Cleo.

Cleo Integration Cloud has provided a reliable platform to easily communicate with our trading partners.

Pros

Flexibility! There are a number of ways to leverage the software to integrate and transform a variety of formats.

With flexibility brings complexity. Clarify has a bit of a learning curve; However, once comfortable with the platform, you're truly able to reap the benefits.

The Cleo suite of products are excellent translators

March 30th, 2020 • Roles: Purchaser & End User

The Cleo suite of products are excellent translators from any to any types of transactions. Their platform is very versatile, stable and allows for many types of file conversions. We use the software mainly for EDI translations however we also have an on premise installation that we use for Application to Application (A2A) integrations.

Pros

The dashboard is great to see all versions of our file translations with external vendors. We also utilize the software internally for A2A transactions which is easy to implement without coding experience.

Cons

It would be great if we could somehow utilize the existing Cleo connections from an EDI perspective if they already have another customer with standard EDI/AS2 connections. Would be great to reuse work already done for an existing customer to connect to other translators - SBS Commerce as an example.

Cleo is very flexible and easy to use. It is a great choice when you have complex and diverse requirements.

Pros

We chose Cleo specifically for the flexibility of the product, but it is also great at how fast we can generate new maps.

Cons

I would love to see further development in reporting and archive.

The biggest thing I like is how easy and seamless it makes automating processes

March 27th, 2020 • Roles: Purchaser & End User

Cleo has been a tremendous help in streamlining multiple processes involving B2B communications(AS2, SFTP).

It also supports using system applications such as PowerShell which has allowed us to stay in compliance with our customers and fill in the gaps where our ERP system fell short.

Pros

The biggest thing I like is how easy and seamless it makes automating processes. AS2 certificate management is fantastic and supports email communication on document success or failure. We have been able to easily implement business processes around CLEO. We first started using it just for EDI communication but have since used it for PGP encryption with financial institutions and document process flow between global subsidiaries within the company.

Cons

The one real gripe I have is the documentation isn't as comprehensive I as would like. Such as lack of examples when going over functions.

In the rare case we have anything happen, there support is top notch

March 27th, 2020 • Roles: Purchaser & End User

We use Cleo for our EDI processing. They have a very strong translation engine and team behind it. This just scratches the surface of what it can do.

Pros

We have over 700 trading partners that we recieve over 3000 files a month from and never have issues with their software. In the rare case we have anything happen, there support is top notch and quick to respond and address issues.

Cons

My least favorite is their full integration model. You cannot just purchase EDI in the cloud. you need to buy the full integration suite.

Cleo makes it easy to dive in and get started with document transformation

March 27th, 2020 • Roles: Purchaser & End User

Cleo makes it easy to dive in and get started with document transformation. They’ve got an outstanding support team and they’ve really been making strides towards simplifying the entire business document flow from MFT to ERP order entry.

Pros

Ease of use and their support for sure. They've been extremely responsive and are knowledgeable. Out of all our software Cleo has been my favorite to work with.

Cons

Some of their rule logic for transformation doesn't allow the level of control I need over granular behavior. This allows the application to be more intuitive, but more canned advanced rules would be nice.

No manual intervention required

March 24th, 2020 • Roles: Purchaser & End User

I use Cleo software primarily for edi file transfers. The system has proven to be extremely reliable and runs without any needed manual intervention. Once I setup everything there is very little for me to do, just monitor.

Pros

Reliability is always key to me, and it has proven reliable over and over again. No manual intervention required on my part. Configuration is very easy, no major issues or obstacles.

Cons

I don't see a lot of issues with this. I'm happy with the performance so I would encourage Cleo to keep doing what they are doing.
