You have to run multiple reports to get one answer

August 14th, 2023 • Product Experience: 6-12 months • Role: End User

Some of our departments absolutley love the software but when it comes to the financial reporting, the accounting team is struggling. You have to run multiple reports to get one answer. And in running multiple reports, we often find ourselves with different balances. One report may have checks from the previous year or one may included incumbences, while another does not. The drill down reporting is also lacking. I can’t run a GL report and drill down to the POs. Instead I have to run multiple reports to get an answer that is offered on one report in other software I have used in the past.

They were able to help us switch off QuickBooks

June 8th, 2023 • Product Experience: trial only • Roles: Purchaser & End User

After reviewing a few systems from Software Connect’s recommendations, we are thinking of switching over to Edmunds GovTech. They were able to help us switch off QuickBooks and into a true fund accounting program.

One thing that made Edmunds stand above the rest was that they specialized in smaller municipalities and had a few proposals for us. I liked how we were able to customize what modules we wanted that best fit our city.

They are also including support both before the sale and after to make sure our transition period is smooth.

Can add on as we go

March 24th, 2023 • Product Experience: trial only • Roles: Purchaser & End User

We have yet to make a decision but are leaing towards the Edmunds program right now. They have been good to work with so far.

We have been using the same system for the last 15 years and switching over to a program with huge annual fees is a transition. Alot of systems we reviewed had huge annual costs.

That is why we like Edmunds, I believe we are able to add on and update it as we need. This lets us slowly transition to the new system without going all in at once.

Pros

Lets us add on features as we need.

Has made my whole department more efficient

April 21st, 2021 • Roles: Purchaser & End User

Has made my whole department more efficient and allows us to upload and store documents for quick look back and referencing. The most positive experience is when I can tell my staff that something we want updated or revised is included in the latest software update.", “Edmunds offers a general sense of genuine customer service. I have experienced often that our business matters to them. My needs quickly become their needs. My suggestions transition into their ability to see how it could benefit others who are of a similar size or scope.”, “As we are all part time, it was difficult to receive IT help when it was needed. Staff can now call or email for IT assistance and receive assistance at the time of need. We highly recommend Edmunds GovTech and look forward to our partnership for years to come.
