A really good feature for the drivers to see real-time updates

June 6th, 2023 • Product Experience: trial only • Role: End User

Fullbay seemed to be a really good system when we demoed it. It was very functional and easy to use.

The main feature I liked about it was it had a really good feature for the drivers to see real time updates on the repair work. Which allows the maintenance guys to focus on their work rather than updating the drivers.

Onboarding with FullBay was one of the easiest parts

December 13th, 2020 • Roles: Purchaser & End User

As a first time shop owner, onboarding with FullBay was one of the easiest parts of starting my business. My guys in the office, as well as the techs, absolutely love using it.

Pros

I love that it that it forces you to be meticulous with your vendor bills and special order parts. It saves so much grief at the end of the week.

Cons

Honestly, nothing. Every time I think of something Id like changed, an update shows up and fixes it.

Fullbay allows us to invoice our customers immediately

November 23rd, 2020 • Roles: Purchaser & End User

I normally do not review products but feel compelled to let people know what a time and money saver Fullbay’s heavy duty truck repair software has been to our business. We have been using Fullbay for almost three years now. I am the accountant for C&W Mechanical and our sister company C&W Global. Fullbay has definitely been a game changer from an accounting perspective. In the past, due to the software we were using, geared to the “trucking” side of our business, we manually entered all of the mechanical work orders into the trucking software. We then had to export the information to a spreadsheet, import it into QuickBooks, which left a lot of room for errors. Obviously, the prior process took a lot of time, which slowed down getting invoices to our customers, which slowed down our receivables&you get the picture. Fullbay allows us to invoice our customers immediately and our accounts receivables are therefore in a MUCH better place today. We also struggled with keeping track of inventory, Fullbay has totally helped us to get and stay on top of our inventory 100%. Obviously not everything is all-good with anything in life. I do wish Fullbay offered the ability to do more accounting functions within their software. We currently do a web connect between Fullbay and Quick Books—quick and very smooth process&.however, I would love to be able to pay our vendors directly through the Fullbay software. We would then be able to run financials and not utilize QuickBooks at all. With Fullbay’s support staff always being available and seriously always finding answers to any questions or concerns we may have&I think I see my accounting wishes coming true in the future. Simply put&If you need help getting and staying on track of your vehicle maintenance shop&I highly recommend Fullbay&they have saved us soooooo much time and money.

Pros

After three years of using Fullbay we are still finding ways to save time and money.

Cons

I would like to see more Accounting functions implemented in the software.

Customer service is ON POINT

November 21st, 2020 • Roles: Purchaser & End User

Pros: It is specifically for DIESEL shops and roadside service. It’s not loaded up with a bunch of stuff that will never be used. VIN decoder works for tractors, trailers, straight trucks, and even chassis/containers. Customer service is ON POINT. I have yet to have an issue that was not FULLY resolved, usually on first contact. It is constantly being updated to accommodate user feedback and suggestions. I spend half the time I used to getting work orders and invoices out. The customer portal and vendor portals are excellent. Customers can view, print, and pay invoices as well as request service, which is sent directly to my phone. Vendors can receive parts orders, quote parts, and submit bills. Inventory was one of our biggest challenges, now we don’t even think about it.

Cons: It is confusing at first, but once you go through the onboarding, it is a breeze to work with. I didn’t find it sooner.

Overall: It is a very well-rounded program that doesn’t waste your time with features that you will never use. The integrations make life easier and are not a huge headache to set up.

Pros

It is specifically for DIESEL shops and roadside service. VIN decoder Customer service the customer portal and vendor portals Inventory management

Cons

Cons: It is confusing at first, but once you go through the onboarding, it is a breeze to work with. I didn't find it sooner.

Work order flow and parts ordering has been a game changer for us

November 20th, 2020 • Roles: Purchaser & End User

Fullbay is a complete work order and parts management system. The built in process for work order flow and parts ordering is second to none. Having used several different programs at different work places I can say that Fullbay is hands down the best one I have used.

Pros

The built in work order flow and parts ordering has been a game changer for us. It allows us to set approval limits on work orders. Makes you contact the customer when changes are made to keep the customer up to date on the cost and progress of the repairs.

Cons

The one issue I have would be tech timesheets. It is a bit cumbersome and hard to follow at first.
