MRPeasy

We have some issues with it. It doesn’t seem to do quite what we think it should do. What we have is a situation where we buy flat pattern material from one vendor, send it to another vendor to get bent, and then send it to yet a third vendor to get painted. Somehow the system doesn’t like doing that. It doesn’t seem to react the way we think it should. We receive all the flat parts in the stock then try and ship them to the next vendor and it doesn’t like that.

I’m not impressed by their support. It would be nice to sit and talk to someone about it and have them walk us through it, but emailing back and forth…you don’t quite get enough information. It was in our price range and it seemed like it did what we wanted it to do.

It does some things like when we need a widget to go into the final machine and it handles doing all that just fine. All the material going into the stock or out of the stock - all that stuff works well. It seems the main problem is these multi-level parts. That seems to be where all the glitches are. We’re hammering through it.

Great customer service and overall the product is quite strong. Definitely one of the best bang for your buck.

It is very much a MRP, not an ERP and must integrate with a separate accounting system. The CRM is basic but does everything you need it too. Stock, BOM, and inventory management is excellent. Managing production and assembly orders is a breeze.

I’ve tested several MRP systems over the past few months, and nothing has been as simple to use, affordable, and with the ability to handle assembly variants like MRPeasy.

MRPeasy fits our requirements and was easy to get.

The user interface is excellent, I think. It really is at the right level of complexity for many of my clients. All the screens are very straightforward.

For example, the single object in the purchasing section of MRPeasy is the PO, and that’s it. All of the receiving and purchasing functions are built into that one screen. Other systems will have 20 windows having to do with purchasing and receiving and inventory. In here, it’s just two or three main pages. You can learn two or three screens, you basically have material management under your belt. The same thing on the manufacturing side.

MRPeasy allows us to track our manufacturing costs and sales with ease. We are very happy with the product as it saves our employees a lot of time. It helped us to get rid of a lot of paperwork and it syncs very well with our previous accounting system ‘Xero’. We initially thought the transition would be tough, but with the help from Libra Europe Consulting, it turned out to be a smooth process

We see already the following benefits of using MRPeasy:

MRPeasy gives us the ability to track all of our manufacturing lot costs right down to the individual serial number of our products. MRPeasy provides the software as a remote service and has never been unavailable to us except in very rare maintenance windows. Just like its name, it was easy to implement, and we can manufacture our products to a rigid flow ensuring safe and quality product. All these advantages and no server to have to manage.

In selecting MRPeasy, I looked at many options for the new venture, but chose MRPeasy primarily because it is cloud based… and also for its forecasting features, simplicity, and flexible low price per user!
