A fully integrated manufacturing ERP that also includes MES and QMS for metal fab and machinery plants.

Product Overview

OnRamp is a fully integrated manufacturing ERP. It integrates manufacturing, inventory, quality, maintenance, shipping, and accounting into a single solution, with no bolt-on modules.

OnRamp serves North American midmarket manufacturers in machining, fabrication, metal finishing, and the automotive supply chain, typically with 20 to 150 employees. The ERP includes a native shop floor execution layer with line-side monitors that deliver real-time work instructions and capture data directly from operators.

OnRamp ERP supports automotive compliance needs out of the box, including PPAP, FMEA, IATF 16949, and OEM EDI. Every customer who implements OnRamp works directly with OnRamp’s own expert manufacturing consulting team, not third-party consultants.

Pros

  • Fully integrated with no bolt-on modules
  • Native shop floor execution layer
  • Built-in automotive compliance

Cons

  • Transition during implementation could be tough for some
  • Less familiar brand compared to large ERP vendors

Target Market

North American midmarket manufacturers with 10 to 500 employees in metalworking, machining, machinery manufacturing, and metal finishing, including powder coating, liquid coating, plating, and anodizing. Great for MTO, MTS, or light ETO work.

Not Recommended For

Job shops under 10 employees, pure distribution companies without manufacturing operations, and companies looking for a collection of separate best-of-breed apps rather than one integrated solution. Not a fit for enterprise manufacturers needing global multi-entity complexity.

  • Nesting Integration: Material optimization to reduce waste during cutting/layout.

Pricing

OnRamp uses a flat rate determined by each customer’s size and complexity, factoring in employee count, revenue, number of parts, and facility size. Pricing is quoted per company, not per user or per module, since OnRamp is fully integrated and doesn’t sell add-ons separately. Billed monthly under an annual agreement.

Efficient implementation

June 17th, 2026

The cost entry point caught our attention, but the turnaround time for implementation made the real difference. Ian and his team got us up and running in three months and on budget.

An efficient ERP implementation allowed Formex to start improving production processes and realizing ROI within the same fiscal year.

Gave us the tools we need

June 17th, 2026

We started using OnRamp Solutions in 2011, and with the help of the OnRamp team and their flexible software architecture we were able to complete the implementation quickly. The OnRamp system allowed us the tools we need to set a weekly earned hours target and track performance daily. This means we always have the proper manpower and overtime in place to meet targets and provide much more accountability for supervisors and their employees.

Great customer service

June 17th, 2026

Compared to other customer service experiences, OnRamp is a step above. A lot has changed since go-live. Parts are better tracked in the shop, documentation is more professional, and nothing leaves the facility without a label. We want to do things properly, find efficiencies, and keep improving. OnRamp helps us do that.
