Petrofly is very user friendly. It is very quick to get owner statements. Getting royalties and JIBs out each month is simple.
Cons
We are looking for some advanced unique solutions on the software end that they didn't have, but they are helping us implement that right now
Saved us alot of time from our previous processes
The software has been great for what we need specifically for royalty and JIBs. Software is easy to use and looks very modern. It has really saved us alot of time from our previous processes to get royalty payments out. Support always helps us out immediately if we need it. Overall, great product and great people to work with.
Pros
It is a well made oil and gas accounting software. Made the accounting for royalty and jibs very easy for us. We put in our expenses when they come in and the system automatically updates our jibs so we can easily run our revenue cycle each month.
Cons
Sometimes when I am looking certain functionalities or handling a user error, its not always easy to figure out the first time. But their support is great and get me sorted out right away.
If it worked correct it would be great!
We ended up going with PetroFly and love the features such as their Accounts Payable, Royality, and Joint Interest Billing modules!
We initially ran into issues with reporting but they helped update the way the data was coming into our specifications and streamlined the way the data was moving between modules to fit the way we operate
The system is well worth its price.

Customer service and a constantly evolving custom-fit software
Two large factors separate Petrofly from the other oil and gas software companies that I have interacted with, customer service and a constantly evolving custom-fit software. Petrofly was the only company who was happily willing to build a platform just for my operations. I was too small for everyone else or they were too expensive for me. The team at Petrofly has taken tasks which previously stressed me out for hours and simplified them to take just a few easy minutes. Every function that I have needed has either been a part of the original platform or they have built it just to suit my needs. I absolutely recommend Petrofly, they will not disappoint.

Pros
I like that this software has some really easy to understand accounting solutions. We were using quickbooks and excel but it was slowing down and we needed something more flexible. We switched over after seeing Petrofly's demo. It looked simple to use and I needed the automation for my reports which quickbooks doesn't support. The user interface is easy to understand, and the custom setup made it easier to get familiar with the software. I exported all the data from quickbooks and we migrated the data to the new system without any problems. After that first bulk transfer of all our old data, the software hasnt slowed down. We were impressed.
Cons
I wanted to be able to see the assets separated by types and location. They said they could build us that feature. Will see how this turns out and whether they can deliver or not.

No dislikes, I tell the support team assigned to us anytime we want something done differently they really listen to what we say and make the changes right away.

Enerfly helps us in managing our production data and also seeing the bottom line of our operation. It also assists us in dealing with jibs and reducing expenditure. Parts of its oil and gas accounting solutions are tied to: 1. notifying us when expenditure is too high in a workover or service. 2. suggesting a better vendor in terms of workover efficiency and price. This really helped us in staying in budge for the past couple of years.
Pros
This software is not too costly in term of what it does. The set up is easy and fast. Design is also very intuitive. The software has saved us a lot of time and headaches in terms of dealing with production management, jibs and oil and gas specific accounting and cost control. What I like the most is that it can accurately show you how much money it has saved you by introducing new servicers and vendors.
Cons
No major dislikes in the software. Just wish some of the customized solutions for us can be pushed out a little faster. Not a big complaint since everything came out on time and works well.
