- Carrier Sourcing and Compliance: Search your carrier network by lane history, region, and carrier scorecard. Carrier onboarding covers authority and insurance monitoring, as well as fraud checks.
- AI Track and Trace: An AI agent places check calls to drivers around the clock, confirms location and ETA in multiple languages, and syncs status to the load record. Live tracking feeds from Macropoint, Trucker Tools, and FourKites are displayed in the same view.
- OCR Document Capture: Bills of lading, proof of delivery, and carrier invoices are automatically read as they are submitted. Quickly assign documents to their related shipment or carrier profile for easy reference anytime.
- Carrier Invoice Audits: Tai compares each carrier invoice against the original rate confirmation and flags reweights, reclasses, and unexpected accessorials for review before they reach accounts payable (AP).
- Billing and Accounting: Includes AR and AP management, with invoices generating automatically once proof of delivery is confirmed and payment status tracked against each load.
- Customer Portal: A custom-branded self-service portal where shippers can quote, book, and track shipments. Create custom role permissions for each customer and enable them to quickly download their related documents.
- Reporting and Analytics: Real-time dashboards cover lane profitability, carrier scorecards, sales commission, and variance analysis. Create custom dashboards and reports.

My overall experience has been great, we came from a server based TMS which was a lot more expensive overhead and a lot more limited on integration capabilities (without spending an arm and a leg)
Pros
I like that it's cloud based, their api capabilities, and their willingness to integrate with other vendors.
Cons
Sometimes it seems like the pages can load a bit slowly. On the search page I would prefer if it didn't presearch a bunch of orders and would only execute the search once I've entered the parameters I want.

Our speeds for data entry, our room for growth, and our customer touches have all improved with the efficiencies this brought our team. As I mentioned prior, the customer experience and support is currently the most unfortunate part of the program itself.
Pros
There is a clean GUI, with it being very easily customized with permissions and looks by a lot of different things. The open API is awesome, and they're integrated with nearly everyone we've cared to connect with. The custom alerts, activity log, and assignment features have been great for us.
Cons
Some customizations are locked down, the tracking field "location history" is a bit outdated. The site can be extremely slow or spin infinitely at times.. we've worked through our own connections and hardware and confirmed it's the site only. The support team isn't always the most helpful. Their lack of escalation and vacation coverage in their support team is extremely frustrating. The overall customer experience with the platform is low tier. But the program itself is good in most ways.. not all. But most.

With Tai, I’ve been able to onboard over 400 customers in one year. It normally takes much longer and is much more complex, but Tai gives us the ability to move quickly, get accounts established, and get trucks on the road faster.

Tai TMS has dramatically improved our operations, we have been on the platform for seven months, we are an agent based company and we have been able to reclute 15 new agents, onboard them and significally grow our business in that period of time. It has been a game changer. Our old TMS was not cloud base, and having that has been a huge change. Just the fact that Tai is built on a modern platform that has modern plug ins, integrations with vendors that make the integration process a lot easier and cleaner.
