Tekla PowerFab Review
We’ve been using FabTrol for almost 30 years. Tekla has a very similar look and feel to it. Our discussions were if we were going to start getting into the modeling side of things. We were also working in Bluebeam and the whole hang-up seemed to be if we did a takeoff and tried to import it into someone’s software. We wanted to put a bunch of labor codes on pieces and everyone was like we could only do one code on the piece. Nothing worked exactly like what we were hoping for. We were trying to go down on estimating time. So far this program seems to be pretty decent.
