Employee shift scheduling software from Hyre.
Employee shift scheduling software from Hyre is a tool that allows companies with a shift-based workforce to schedule and manage their in-house staff. The product will work well with many industries and different workforce sizes. The pricing is set on a monthly pay-per-user method.
Among the features, users can schedule multiple shifts and create multiple recurring shifts. There is a calendar view to manage shifts and employee availability, e.g. allowing staff to pick up shifts or assigning them by a drag-and-drop feature. Employees can track their shift start and end times in one dashboard by using clock-ins/out on their devices.
The tool has different types of control or access for users. Managers can view and share staff within an organization, create departments and facilities, mark shifts as paid, sync to payroll and download reports. If there is a need to fill the gaps, Hyre gives an option to contract their qualified temp staff for companies based in Ontario, Canada.
This software is perfect for companies of any size with a shift-based workforce. For example, It will work well with logistics (supply chain management, distribution), retail (warehouses, storages) and hospitality industry (catering, events etc.)
The cost of Hyre starts at $2.49/user/month. There is a free trial available
It has what you need in a comprehensive shift scheduling tool. I measured it up against 10 other software companies that have a scheduling component and Hyre stood out because of the ease of use. I don’t really see anything that is missing from the software.
I have evaluated the software and although I have not yet used it (I will be using it starting next month), I am really excited to use the shift filling feature where I will be able to add outside contractors to my schedule. I manage an events company in Oshawa and my employees constantly call in sick. Next time that happens, I will just convert those employees’ shifts into contract shifts. Such an impactful feature.
Haven’t fully used it yet. Just evaluated it.
Hyre is an employee shift scheduling software. It also includes a free employee clock in and clock out app, time tracking and management features, organizational management, and payroll.
I use it to schedule my staffs’ weekly schedules. I create the shifts and then I like to allow my employees to pick and choose which shifts they like - so I enable them to do so through Hyre. They can only pick up shifts if I have pre-approved them for those shifts. If I find that there are gaps in my schedule, I open up the shifts to the public (the talent pool provided by Hyre) - that feature really saved me!
When I first started, Hyre didn’t integrate with my payroll system but when I requested an integration, it was done within the following 2 weeks.
Hyre is an employee scheduling tool. Web-based. We started using this software for shift management, availability management and internal communication with staff.
I like how simple it is to post shifts and make a weekly schedule. It’s great to have a calendar view to see all shifts and who’s working on them.
I don’t think there is anything that I dislike about it.
Great tool to use to efficiently manage availabilities and schedule multiple shifts at once. Saved lots of time using Hyre!
Hyre offers a variety of features such as facilities and departments view. Which is perfect for companies such as ours that have multiple locations, to be able to view all schedules.
I love this tool! It was really easy to use and took me no time to figure out how to use it. My team is not on good terms with complex technology, but this one worked for us really well!
While using the software, my team and I have been spending much less time scheduling. It is so easy to manage availabilities and make multiple shifts at once. Genuinely saved me lots of time.
I cant think of anything to change!
A great tool that has helped my business a lot - you can easily add recurring shifts with employees which saves a ton of time and energy. It also has features that just make things run a lot smoother, like digital time clock and payroll management. Highly recommend.
What I like best is how easy it is to use and schedule multiple shifts at once - I can even manage the schedule for different locations.
It takes some time to get used to the platform, but once you know your way around the features it’s extremely helpful
Since I started using this software, I noticed how we’re spending less time on scheduling than we used to. It’s easier to manage availabilities and I always create multiple shifts at once. Genuinely saved me lots of time.
That I can schedule people in bulk. I have never seen that available anywhere else and now that is the feature I use most. I can schedule 20 people at the same time.
Hyre has a facility feature. We don’t have any facilities, so I didn’t use this feature for my organization. Nice to know it’s there but it’s not currently in use.
It’s an online software that allows digital staff scheduling and payroll for my business.
They have actually been quite responsive to my communications and questions. After work hours did not seem to be a problem for them to get back to me.
Speed between switching pages has been improving but can still use tweaks.
I helped manage a food prep company over the summer and needed a scheduling tool for my staff. I used a few different tools but landed on Hyre because its layout was so simple. I really enjoyed the calendar view - it had a simple drag and drop feature that gave you a “make it and forget it” feeling for weekly scheduling. It’s so automated and useful. It beats the old style of tracking things manually. Highly recommended!
Very Simple and Convenient
I haven’t used all of Hyre’s features. I intend to book a demo soon to onboard myself. The company pumps out features every month, so there’s always something new.
Super easy to use and saves me a lots of time every week.
Easy to use and to implement
Nothing so far
