About Versa Cloud ERP

Versa Cloud ERP is a cloud-based enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution designed for small manufacturers and distributors and its inventory heavy businesses. The solution offers tools to consolidate data related to finances, inventory, revenue, costs and more.

Within the financial accounting module, the solution provides general ledger (GL), accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), fixed asset management and cash management features. These tools can help companies manage different businesses, manage locations and currencies and adhere to financial compliance. A project-specific accounting feature allows users to track both billable and non-billable project expenses.

Other features of Versa Cloud ERP include purchase-to-lay, quote-to-cash, document management, payroll and business analytics. It also offers modules for advanced pricing and inventory management, B2B and B2C sales portals, project accounting and customer relationship management (CRM). Third-party add-ons such as payroll, sales tax, shipping and logistics and e-commerce consolidators can also be integrated.

Services are available on monthly, annual and four-year subscription basis.

Previously we used NetSuite which by most accounts is highly complex and overpriced (and continues to raise prices), not to mention a lengthy and laborious on-boarding process. We looked at various ERP solutions that would be reasonably affordable, easy to onboard, easy to use and robust enough to accommodate our needs, specifically our wide selection of products, multiple warehouse facilities & currencies. Versa’s offering consistently “checked” our boxes of needs + wants, however most importantly, they’re super quick to respond and troubleshoot issues that pop-up from time to time. Although Versa is our ERP, we view them equally as a trusted partner who contributes to our day-to-day business success & efficiency. Just one regret - we wish we would have found them sooner.

We switched over from quick books enterprise mainly because we needed better inventory capabilities and we preferred a cloud based program. We needed software that could import orders from multiple sales Chanels including brick and mortar stores, websites, phone orders and Amazon. We were also looking to integrate with other applications like sales force and ship station to handle our CRM and logistics. We needed the software to track and deplete lotted FIFO based inventory used to build manufactured products. We needed the inventory to sync across all selling platforms. The Versaccounts team has been able to deliver on all of the above and they are constantly developing and making their program even better.

The Good…

The advanced inventory features for manufacturing products made up of lotted and trackable inventory.

The Bad…
