Bizowie Cloud ERP Review: Pros and Cons, Features
Bizowie Cloud ERP is a fantastic option for mid-market manufacturers and distributors seeking an all-in-one solution. It’s particularly impressive for mixed-mode operations. With its ala-carte ERP modules and per-user pricing, Bizowie scales beautifully with your growing business.
However, smaller companies might want to look elsewhere. Bizowie’s comprehensive feature set and minimum user requirement can be a bit much for those with fewer than five users. There could be more cost-appropriate solutions for these smaller operations.

To ensure a bespoke fit for each business, Bizowie offers customized pricing quotes that are tailored to the specific module requirements and user count of each organization.
Direct EDI
Bizowie Cloud ERP’s Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) feature allows direct and automated communication with customers and vendors, exchanging essential documents like orders and invoices without manual entry. It connects directly with any ANSI X12 EDI-compatible vendor, removing the need for third-party intermediaries.
This function reduces workload, eliminates processing errors, and provides real-time updates, leading to significant time savings. Bizowie’s experienced EDI team supports high-volume connections while avoiding costly monthly or per-transaction fees.

The database allows users to create custom databases for various types of organizational knowledge, with full search and reporting capabilities, the ability to create mini-applications with workflows, and the option to link resources in other databases or elsewhere in the ERP.
Example use cases include new customer workflows, employee manuals, engineering change orders, and vendor/carrier claims.

A month down the road, we have received more feature releases than we had received in the past year from our previous provider. It is very customizable but with that brings lots of issues
It is very customizable but with that brings lots of issues when changes are made down the road. Their customer service is prompt but because every company is different in their setup they do not look into that first, they just answer with the basic system answer and you have to go back to them with your specifications. You have to create your own instruction manual since things are so customizable. Their “reports” are very hard to roll out to anyone other than accounting because they all run off different information; ie. invoice date, payment date, etc. They do not have a 1099/W9 process in place and is a very manual process at year end. You are essentially creating every aspect of the system so be prepared to spend time doing so. Even simple things like prepaids, it’s already in the system but you have to put into place simple controls so that things can not be changed later and if they are making sure the correct journal entries will be created.
Pros
The workflows for approval and the visibility to supervisors. To the best of their ability they do try to create or enhance their system per your requests.
