ThinkWave provides a free gradebook program for solo teachers. This includes a flexible grading method, custom reports, and the ability to post grades online for students and parents.
The free version of the gradebook does include ads. An ad-free version (their Premium Gradebook) is available for $49.95/teacher/year. Price discounts exist for the more teachers that require access.
It takes a minute to figure out, but then easy breezy! IMO much easier to maneuver and easier for teachers, students and parents to see all assignments and grades in one shot–unlike Google Classroom which is difficult to see a clear view of assignments and grades.
