Thanks to eFinancePlus, we now have our turnaround time for purchase orders down to almost 48 hours because we do it all electronically.
I’ve worked on the student side of things with eSchoolPlus for discipline, attendance, and report cards. I now get to handle the finance side of things and know how to work payroll, state reporting parts of finance and benefits. Both tools are integral in the way we do business in how we track student information and report all that information. On the finance side I’m learning more and more every day about making sure we pay teachers and stay compliant with state and federal regulations. There has always been great support with the staff from PowerSchool. There has always been someone I can talk to. It’s been a great experience.
My position is an accounts payable clerk. eFinance does eliminate a lot of the paperwork. We are now just moving from 5.0 to 5.1 so we’ll be using notifications which will be easier for the secretaries to know when their requisition has become a PO or if there is any corrections they need to make so they’ll be notified that way. Now I don’t have to stop what I’m doing to send them an email and ask them to make corrections on their requisitions.
We use both eSchool and eFinance. Our finance team and our warehouse team and our HR team all love eFinance. They love every aspect of it. They do their entire job 8 hours a day immersed in the eFinance project.
