The cost of Shopify Basic starts at $29/month. Growing businesses with online or in-store locations is $79 per month. The Advanced Shopify plan, for scaling businesses, is $299 per month. There are no setup fees and plans can be canceled at any time. There is a free 14-day trial available. There is no free version available, though discounted pricing is available on annual plans.

Using Shopify Payments means you won’t have to pay transaction fees. If you choose an external payment gateway, there will be additional fees of 2%, 1% or 0.5% for Basic Shopify, Shopify, and Advanced Shopify plans, respectively.

I think what separates Shopify from the rest is how customizable it is. There is an app that suggests more things for visitors to buy. Every time somebody asks me “who does your website” I can proudly say “me” because of how intuitive the platform is in letting me control what is listed.
