Fit the Bill and the Budget

May 25th, 2023 • Product Experience: still implementing • Roles: Purchaser & End User

We are a small entrepreneurial team and only had a few projects under our belt. The Field Wire system was cost effective met all of our basic needs and really fit the bill.

The best feature of the program is how much it offers at just a small price. We did not need all the bells and whistles and this really got us started on the right path.

It's really similar to PlanGrid and Fieldlens

February 19th, 2016 • Roles: Purchaser & End User

It’s really similar to PlanGrid and Fieldlens. For those familiar with that software, it’s like a hybrid of both. It’s good for uploading documents and document control. It also is good for tracking issues in the field.

For example, we had exposed plumbing sleeves we had to deal with. We can upload the drawings into the app. It’s a PDF you can access and use it exclusively to click on issues on the job site. You can open it up and title it as “exposed plumbing sleeve” and take pictures, take notes, put attachments, things like that. It’s really similar to those other products and is currently free for the most part. For those of you in the field, I’d get an iPad and get yourself some apps.
