A multi-module management system designed by Incode for government & public administration and utilities companies.

About InSite

Introducing InSite a new product from INCODE which encompasses Internet website DEVELOPMENT, HOSTING & INTEGRATION.

DEVELOPMENT INCODE Internet Services can provide everything your city needs to get a website up and running quickly, reliably and within your budget.

All development is done in a manner that makes creating changes easy and allows your city to post information to the Internet without our assistance. This will be useful if you want to post items that are continually changing or to add new items. For instance if you might post items for the community such as:

  • Council Meeting Information
  • Job Opportunities
  • Important Numbers

HOSTING INCODE can host your site on our reliable, secure, high performance web servers. Your city will get its own website address (www.yourcity.state).

If your city has already developed a website, INCODE can begin hosting it (some pre-requisites apply), or can link to it if needed (see Integration). Our services are designed to be as flexible as possible to meet your needs.

INTEGRATION InSite as a website and web hosting service, offers the added feature of integration with other INCODE products and services.

For example, Utility Billing On-Line is a service which allows your city’s utility customers to access information such as the most recent bill information, transaction history, copies of previous bills, graphed consumption history, and address information. Customer may also pay utility bills online using major credit cards. Proper security is provided similar to websites that offer banking online.

You can benefit through this integration by allowing the system to perform certain functions for you. When customers submit service requests, the system can automatically create work orders or simply create a service request report. The system can automatically send preformatted email responses back to the customer based on the type of service request submitted. Thus, letting the customer know they are important and that their suggestions or needs will be acted upon.

Court On-Line

Court-Online provides the ability for municipal court fines to be paid by credit card or electronic check via the Internet.

Court-Online not only offers payments of fines on the Internet, but has several other features as well. Since it was designed by INCODE, this system interfaces seamlessly with INCODE’s InCourt Municipal Court System. There is no need for a special interface to be created between various companies. Court-Online will interact with InCourt eliminating the complexity and potential problems of dealing with exported data to a third party.

If your Court or City has an existing Web site, a link to Court-Online can be added to it creating a direct link to Court-Online. If you do not have an existing Web site and have no desire to implement one, defendants can access Court-Online directly to pay fines. INCODE is available to help your Court create a presence on the Internet utilizing INCODE’s new Internet publishing product InSite, designed specifically for cities.

INCODE is compensated for this service by adding a convenience fee to a transaction when the customer elects to pay the fine via the Internet with a credit card or electronic check and a small monthly fee for site maintenance and support.

Court-Online instantly emails payment notification to connected Courts and Courts may choose to have the Court-Online system automatically update their InCourt software as fines are paid. Your Court must have access to email in real time or be able to check email periodically throughout the day. Additional features we plan to offer, as options of the Court-Online product will be secure, and include:

  • Attorney’s Outstanding Case Inquiry: This feature will allow an attorney to log in with a password over the Internet and get a list of all of his/her pending cases, trial dates, etc. Your Court may also choose to allow attorneys the opportunity to register themselves as the attorney of record on court cases.
  • Officer’s Docket Inquiry: This feature will allow the city’s police officers to view the court calendar displaying days in which the officer is scheduled to be in court.

Judge’s Court Docket Inquiry: This feature will allow the judge to view the upcoming court docket

These optional services come as a package and are provided at a small fee to your Court on a per citation basis as entered into the InCourt system. Please contact your INCODE representative for additional pricing information.

Utility Billing On-Line

Introducing Utility Billing On-Line a new product from INCODE, which allows citizen access to certain utility information via the Internet. Through secured and non-secured areas, your citizens can gain access to a location’s legal description, flood plain information, average consumption, transaction history and other information. A citizen can even pay their utility bill online, using a credit card. All of this is city defined so you decide what the City will grant access to.

How it works - Each day, your city would send a data file from the Utility System to INCODE. We would then transfer this information to our Internet server. By separating the information this way, your network is not in jeopardy of a security breach through the Internet.

If your City already has a web site, a simple link would send the citizen to the Utility Billing On-Line section, which would be hosted at INCODE. If you were using INCODE’s InSite services (see InSite information) both sections of your web site would be hosted by INCODE.

General Unsecured Access - In most cases the City will choose to publish some data for each location, which is not considered private. This information could include, consumption history, a location’s lot and block number, subdivision, and precinct or school zone. If in your system you maintain other information, such as flood plain information, this could also be published. Each City will determine what information to publish in this section. The purpose of the information would be to help reduce the number of general information telephone calls received.

Secured Access - In addition to general access, Utility Billing On-Line provides for a secured section. In this secured section, the City may choose to provide detailed information about an account to the account holder.

Once an account holder logs into the secured section, Utility Billing On-Line Can provide:

  • Financial Information (Current Due, Last Payment, Amount Past Due, Contract Information etc.)
  • Transaction Information (with copies of statements)
  • Address Information
  • Consumption Information (with comparisons to like accounts and graphing)

Additionally, Utility Billing On-Line can accept requests for service (as defined by the City) and requests for account changes. When a citizen makes a request over the Internet, an automated e-mail is sent to the citizen thanking them for the request. Requests can then be integrated to the Work Order system (if owned) or set aside for action by City.

Summary - Utility Billing On-Line is another key product in INCODE’s complete, end-to-end solution for your City. We think you’ll agree that at INCODE we have everything it takes to run a city!
