We like Global Shop Solutions for its mixed-mode manufacturing support, customer service, and payroll and time-tracking features. We like how the platform streamlines HR and employee onboarding processes. It’s also easy to create training materials and export reports directly to payroll providers.

We don’t think it’s best for companies who prefer a more modern UI and faster training process. Due to its deep feature set, employees will likely need some additional time to learn the software.

Constant mysteries to solve, they need a youtube channel, rather than hiding support videos behind a paywall.

Pros

Support staff working hard to constantly support and fix bad software.

Cons

Counter-intuitive, critical features are hidden, you will need constant support, to try to fix the software, which they will charge you for. Save yourself a headache.

We are in the process of switching from an excel spreadsheet to this Global Shop Solutions. It has been a long process but the Global Shop team has laid out the steps and have been working with us along the way.

This system is not for the small guys who need something out of the box and will require some tech knowledge to get set-up correctly.

But it has all the features we need and even will handle shop floor automation for us!

Not user friendly. 20 clicks to complete one task. Global Shop markets “custom made” which is very misleading and overpriced.

Pros

Nothing, interface is out dated.

Cons

Everything! Software text is 10 pts or smaller and it cannot be changed. Everything you want requires training. Everything requires setting changes. Their training videos spend 10+ min on changing settings every time!
