By utilizing MAPCON, we can streamline the maintenance process, maximize our efficiencies in the field, and we can schedule things ni a way where our techs know how each day is going to be as early as the day before or even a week before. We are able to keep them on tasks running through their projects they may have to do and we end up with a more efficient plant.

My favorite feature is email notifications for any work request that has been transferred into a work order. Once the work order is complete we can read the notes, it has helped us identify issues and get them corrected. We can also attach photos to some of the work requests which is big for our job planner. He has a better idea of what he’s going into rather than explaining over text.

Our day without MAPCON would be a lot less organized. We can access data about different data and equipment. From an organizational standpoint, it has helped us with the inventory. It lets us have the part and pieces we need in stock. The mobile device can scan barcodes, pull up information, and the fact that we can pull it up so easily saves us time.
