A mobile invoicing, digital catalog, B2B e-commerce and DSD software
inSitue Sales’ main product is a field sales app meant to help sales reps (B2B) plan and optimize delivery routes based on time constraints or mileage/gas, use branded mobile invoices to collect full or partial payment immediately, take mobile orders off of digital catalogs, and allow managers to track their reps and inventory in real time. Syncs with most major accounting software and can be used offline.
Their other product is a B2B eCommerce portal meant to allow wholesalers and distributors an inexpensive and simple way to sell products online with a branded site using an interactive digital product catalog. The eCommerce portal also offers an optional Whitelabel B2B App, for company’s interested in having their customers download a customized, fully branded app they can buy their products from.
The cost of inSitu Sales starts at $200/month. There is a free trial available. There is no free version available.
At first, they are nice to get you in but once the problems start, they do not address them. We do not recommend it. It made a mess out of our accounting.
Their lack of fulfillment. Overpromise, underdeliver
InSitu Sales offers an outstanding software at a great price. The customer service is outstanding! We run and organize most aspects of our business from mobile billing, account info, routing, sales history and have it all sync with QuickBooks. After our old software was no longer being supported, the switch to InSitu Sales has helped to make us more efficient while providing the customer a detailed, professional invoice.
This product does so many things for field sales people and does them well! It serves as a quoting, order taking, B2B ecommerce and even CRM tool. Synchronizes our field sales activities with our website and our inside office accounting software. The Insitu techincal support team are great! They work extremely hard to constantly improve their product with stronger features and functionality. We plan to continue to migrate all of our company divisions onto this system.
Every time I have had an issue (which has been a lot due to my clients situation being sort of “unique”) InSitu support has got me taken care of quickly and correctly!
My business has recently switched offer from Sage 50 pro to QB’s online plus which was a great success offering around 70% of the functions I needed to operate my business efficiently.
At first I was worried that I might not be able to find a solution for the remaining 30% of functions needed to complete the package needed for my switch over to QB’s viable.
When I came across inSitu Sales App and read through its list of functions/features, their positive reviews and their pricing I decided to make contact.
I’d tried calling them first but after 30 seconds I was asked to leave a message with contact details which I did. As I’m quite an impatient person I went to the chat app on their website and within 10 seconds I had a reply. After downloading the app on a 14 day free trial I spent the next 3 hours asking questions and integrating QB with inSitu. By the end of the meeting and demo I was so confident that this was the app for me. I purchased a full years worth of 5 users.
I’ve been looking for quite a while for an app catering especially for the needs of field-sales and after looking several months, I settled for InSitu Sales and we’re glad we did. This app has pretty much everything our sales reps can use to work on field, has handy features such as locating custom on a map, route generator, various sales reports, and more.
After trying it with another major accounting software, I changed to Quickbooks+InSitu and this combination was the winning one in terms of optimum app communication and seamless sync, so I’d suggest to stick with this. The price is fairly reasonable as per the price of other apps.
We really like inSitu. they listen, constantly improving. Well priced app. The most important part about this kind of software is support. They are always there when we need them. We have tried of few mobile sales platforms, Insitu wins. Hands down!
