POMaker is a QuickBooks add-on, allowing you to create purchase orders easily and dynamically. You are given the ability to analyze your historical purchase orders, sales receipts, and invoices to suggest future actions. Additionally, this product can give you great flexibility in grouping sorting, and organizing your PO’s; and then exports them to QuickBooks for accounting purposes.
POMaker is an incredibly versatile PO generation system, that will give you the ability to create PO’s and directly interface with QuickBooks. With this program you can define inventory reorder points, maximum and minimum order levels, and your quantity on hand targets. These inventory levels can be set as fixed numbers or dynamic factors determined based on your historical data. Additionally, all reorder points can be imported from QuickBooks, eliminating the need to spend countless hours re-entering them. Default settings can be made so when new items are entered they are automatically assigned ordering limits, reordering points, and quantity on hand targets. This product has the ability to examine your historical sales receipts, invoices and purchase orders to project your reordering needs at any given instant. All items can be marked as ordering or non-ordering to prevent unnecessary items from being scanned, and indicates which items may be parents.
With POMaker you can create a shopping list, either for items from a specific vendor, or all items in your QuickBooks company file. Upon submitting shopping lists for conversion into PO’s the system automatically groups them by vendor. All open sales orders and invoices can be converted directly into shopping lists (which can then be saved as PO’s). With POMaker you can specify the starting date for an item during calculations, thereby assuring reorder quantity projections are not skewed. The powerful search engine inside POMaker allows you to search for products with common characteristics; and the powerful update filters allow you to quickly apply attribute updates to several items at the same time, based on any criteria. The presence of an emailing engine allows you to automate the delivery of notifications and advanced shipping notices to vendors, by email. Finally, all PO’s can be held for reviewing, before they are posted to QuickBooks. If you are using QuickBooks and also create purchase orders, this product is a must have; it will automate many of the cumbersome and time-consuming tasks of entering data from one program to another.
