A software using statistics and AI to analyze production in live time.
Compass is a work instruction platform, that provides operators step-by-step sequenced instructions with videogame like stimulation: scorecards, timers, and vivid graphics. As an operator builds the product, the system analyzes the signals from the machines and the time taken to predict whether or not the product was built correctly. All results are processed in live time and can be seen from the manager suite called HQ. HQ provides tools to document new instructions, manage tool libraries, give/remove user access, and to run production reports.
The instruction portion is designed to rapidly train operators, as well as to enforce a standard process. The data collection is to eliminate the need of people watching production in order to capture trust-worthy data. The system processes all data and reviews it to decide if if is reasonable. When data is out of the ordinary, it will highlight it as such, in order to make data review simple on engineers.
