Visio is available either as for a one-time fee or for an annual or monthly subscription. The two SaaS options are: Plan 1 for $5 per user per month (web app only) while Plan 2 is $15 per user per month.

The one-time purchases are the Standard for $309.99 and the Professional for $579.99. the Standard is an on-premises diagramming solution for those who want to get started quickly on professional diagrams with ready-made templates and shapes. The Professional has all the features of the Standard plus additional templates, collaboration features, data connectivity capabilities, and standards support to build and validate diagrams that support industry standards.

A lightweight version of the Visio web app is currently rolling out to all Microsoft 365 commercial subscribers, so you can create professional diagrams anytime, anywhere, with anyone.
