4Q supports LIFO, FIFO or Average costing, serial and lot number tracking, multiple warehouses, multiple quantity specification, Just-In-Time assembly, Assemble to Specification, USA and VAT taxes, tracking of item levels available, in stock, and on order, and revenue and expense tracking by customer sales / vendor purchase accounts, or by inventory sales and purchase accounts.
There is extensive support for multiple price levels, pricing and discount formulas, contract pricing, specific vendor pricing, and sales rep commission schedules.

4Q Job Costing provides an integrated costing system developed for construction and other large-sized project tracking needs.
This comprehensive costing system integrates with 4Q’s accounting system providing allocation to jobs directly from invoices and purchase orders. It also allows the entry of revenue and expenses not specified in accounting. The system supports:
4Q’s Multi-currency (MC) Module extends 4Q’s patented accounting engine. The system provide high-level support for an unlimited number of foreign currencies, each with an unlimited number of currency rates (Buy, Sell, etc.), a data base of time- and date-stamped exchange rates, rules for the use of foreign currencies based on the age of the exchange rates, and rules for individual users’ ability to change these rates.
Applied to the 4Q Core system MC provides a multi-currency chart of accounts, tracks both the system’s base and each accounts’ foreign currency balances simultaneously, and allows you to create financial reports in single or mixed currency formats.
