In response to customers that do not use Microsoft Dynamics GPýs (formerly Microsoft Business Solutions - Great Plains) SOP-to-POP link/sales fulfillment workflow, we have developed an effective utility to help you auto-fulfill sales orders that have been partially fulfilled.
As a leading developer for Microsoft Dynamics GP, we used Dexterity to develop this effective add-on solution for situations where not all Sales Orders can be completely fulfilled when they are created due to missing or out of stock inventory items. As a result, a Purchase Order must be created to procure more of the missing items. As this procurement takes place, partial Sales Orders can be fulfilled by printing a picking ticket and when new items arrive, the SOP Auto-Fulfillment tool will auto-fulfill all partial Sales Orders based on priority settings defaulted by the Customer Class from a scale of 1-5 . A new picking ticket for the remaining items can then be printed immediately to fulfill the entire Sales Order. In essence, the SOP Auto-Fulfillment enhancement links as many Purchase Orders as possible or desired to partial Sales Orders to fulfill them based on a priority ranking, which you can control. Once partial Sales Orders have been fulfilled, they can be transferred into a new batch immediately to create invoices so that you do not have to search for the partial Sales Orders individually to invoice them.
